UltraStar 0.7.2 released PDF Print E-mail

UltraStar 0.7.2 readyStable UltraStar 0.7.2 has been released. Graphic effects and fonts have been updated since the 0.7.1 version. Official songs are automaticaly updated with new features when the network connection is present. Game comes with new installer and new icon. A lot of minor features were added and known bugs were fixed. Thanks to Davidus01 for help with securing connection and testing, and to Krzysztof "SirLEO" Żegleń for a lot of game testing.

New changes in UltraStar 0.7.2 since RC are listed below:

  • Fixed displaying artist and title when filtering
  • Fixed displaying bars in editor

Changes for UltraStar 0.7.2 RC:

  • Few times video playback speed up when rendering in sofware mode
  • Changable movie texture format from config file (RGB, BGR, RGBA and BGRA)
  • Movie texture format can be changed by pressing CTRL+F when selecting song
  • More contrast notes with larger spacing
  • New lyrics and notes icons for future use
  • Song selection menu 20% speed up (max 60fps) with 10-12 times faster cover sorting when drawing
  • Fixed loading songs with improper #VERSION tag
  • Fixed background flashing when no background graphics or video
  • Fixed background graphics scaling

Changes for UltraStar 0.7.2 beta:

  • Golden notes turns from white to yellow when properly sung
  • #ALBUM, #ID and #LENGTH tags are properly cleared when loading songs
  • Numeric enter key works as normal enter key
  • Sharper, higher resolution font
  • Fixed error with parsing simfiles with only 0x0A at the end of line
  • Higher resolution icon
