We are developing jukebox mode in UltraStar. This mode available from the main menu lets you listen to your UltraStar songs without any scoring, notes and lyrics. This mode is intended for parties when no one wants to sing and you want to play a set of songs.

The jukebox mode lets you select which songs you want to play and the game plays all of them without the need to choose song after each play.

We are working on the song selection methods and we want a feedback from you to put in features you want to have. Right now the jukebox screen looks like a normal song selection screen. Playlist are not available yet.

What do you think about these type of song selection for jukebox?
1. Any song available.
2. Any song in the currently selected language.
3. Any song in the currently selected genre.
4. Any song of the currently selected artist.
5. Customized list by removing entries of the currently selected category with a delete key; list is not saved after game exit.
6. Any song in playlist (not available yet).

These selections required the category tabs to be turned on which will be always on for the jukebox screen.

My ideas
1.Example create a text file and write to it all songs which one wants to listen

Why spend time to develop less-use features?
People can use Spotify or their private collection of MP3 if they want to listen songs.
Ultrastar is for gaming, a game with a concrete objective.
So, I would invest time to develope features that can improve usability and fun.

sounds like an awesome feature can't wait till song selection is working

maybe a section across the bottom of the screen that shows upcoming selected songs also
