New UltraStar will come with the the freeplay mode without scoring and player bars display. We improved setting record options to prevent typical misconfigurations and let the user set the buffer size from the sound options. Do you know any small feature which you would like to see in the new UltraStar?

I really like the new look, but do not know why the program is not recognizing the microphone, does anyone know? Help me!!

For problems with not recognizing microphone I suggest starting new topic and including your config.ini.

I suggest to add some configuration of echo function, so it will be possible to control how long after capturing voice it will output from speakers and i do not think about buffer controll (i'm not sure if this is possible also).

Second suggestion is to add osciloscope to the microphone configuration so it will be possible to check if microphone works in there (currently user have to go out, start to play some song and then check, if config is wrong, then he have to back to mic options and change etc. etc.).

The UltraStar 0.7.1 alpha have built in buffer change option in the game option. In the UltraStar 0.7.0 you have to change these setting by editing config.ini. Setting to small delay causes music to sound choppy.

Since we do not understand much, what should I do to make the microphone to be recognized, I am picking ... the program hangs when I try to make adjustments to the microphone.

I'm checking and writing messages to be translating this for the best PORTUGUESE ... the same (language) will be unified. only rules (valid for all countries using the LANGUAGE PORTUGUESE (BRAZIL, PORTUGAL, etc ...)

Suggestions:
1: Sound effects when we're singing: Type of music Congratulations, failure and others. "Good Fun"
2: Option to choose music with or without vocal

3: Support for many pictures (as photo slide) at the bottom, rather than just a video or photo (stop), I think it would be really cool!

4: That I do not know if it exists, but it would be legal support to promote online contests, such as: We sing, and the result we would go to a database, to compare with the results of other people ... Interesting ..! I hope you have thought of that! eheheh, to the paid version of course. ehehehe

For now it's only that I have in mind, then think of other ideas cool!

AH! It would be nice if there was a way to shift the game to the DVD player with support for karaoke, and we play there! hehehe very cool

somekind of refresher for options would be cool, so i don't have to restart ultrastar everytime i change i.e language, skin etc. also button for adding multiple players in the player screen so don't need to go options to switch more players. third thing would be that you can actually increase singing voice volume. i don't know if it's possible, but while singing i barely hear my own voice because music covers it.

You can do this by increasing microphone volume in system and by increasing mic boost in the game.

I do not see link to the beta version, is it possible to download it?
Are there any fixes regarding the program exit on some sound cards (like mine, we talked about it on different website)?
